Brad and his crew on the SEA DOG, probably the coolest boat in Bristol Bay
Brad loved his crew this year. They worked hard and didn't complain, even when they went days with no sleep.

Here is a Brad's Dad on his boat the Arctic Wind. Brad's Dad is 71 years old and still working his guts on on that boat.
He has been commercial fishing in Alaska for over 45 years now.
Brad has gone up there every year of his life except for while he was on his mission. He started working on his Dad's boat when he was 12.
Pretty awesome.
On the 2nd to last day this year, Brad and most of the guys flew out to Katmai park to look at the bears. Brad's Dad and our Brother-in-law stayed to work on their boats.
When the boats are on land they are about 10 feet up to get on. You have to climb a ladder to get on your boat. Those ladders are scary I hated climbing up those the year I went.
Brad's Dad was climbing off of Brad's boat onto the ladder and the ladder wasn't secured to anything and he fell about 13 feet and landed on his back and his head.
Woody, my brother in law heard him fall and ran to him. He wasn't breathing and was unconscious. Woody thought he was dead.
He started breathing and was rushed to the clinic and then flew to anchorage, Jathan was in Alaska at the time and picked him up at the airport and took him to the hospital.
He is in a LOT of pain, and lucky to be alive.
He has 3 broken ribs and a separated shoulder. And the blackest bruising I have ever seen.
He is a tough guy and we are so thankful he is OK.
